CLV is committed to supporting those in need through the CLV Cares initiative in Australia and the CLV Communities initiative in the UK.
In Australia, CLV works with not-for-profit organisation beyondblue to promote awareness of depression, anxiety and the channels where people can seek help if required. Fundraising events directly contribute towards creating an Australian community that understands depression and anxiety. All donations will be matched dollar for dollar by CLV, up to the value of $20,000 per year.
In the UK, CLV offers bursaries to students facing financial difficulties to enable them remain in higher education. Fundraising and volunteering support is also provided to local charities and organisations such as the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
CLV is committed to minimising the environmental impact of our villages where possible. Think photo voltaic cells to generate energy and reduce consumption, long life, low maintenance recyclable finishes and cross ventilation to minimise the need for air conditioning.
From the sustainable design features we incorporate into our buildings to the resources and information we share with our residents, we aim to reduce our environmental footprint and create communities that care about the important things in life.
Creating safe and secure environments for residents, staff and visitors is a top priority for CLV. We have industry leading safety management plans in place to ensure risk is minimised. Our aim is to create safe, supportive communities where residents can enjoy student life.

Our UK Stepping Up initiative is a series of learning and development programs, including Apprenticeships and graduate schemes, designed to nurture internal and external young talent. With programs to cater for both CLV employees and those in the wider community, participants are guided to explore and extend their employability skills, helping them to feel more confident in their next career move.
